so, i haven't update xanga for 2 months! cuz i really did not know what to say! so for those of you who care, this is what happened these past 2 months... btw, these are not in chronological order

newark lost to sallies @ the championship game!!

ABRSM exam, haha, i don't even wanna talk about it!! well, i passed it, but the grade was really low

SAT II chinese, 800, well, i'm gonna be much happier if that's my verbal or writing score on SAT I

Li's birthday , October 25th, happy birthday once again grandma

first marking period ended, my report card was completely messed up

No school december 9th, cuz of the snow!! it made me so happy!!

band concert, too long. 3 hours listening to the orchestra and choirs, torture!!!

Concert with UD orchestra, i was kinda forced to go. so basically newark people did get a lot to play, just sitting there trying to not to fall in sleep, torture again!!

kinda scared of mr. Pope, dunno why, he's weird... even weirder than i am

reading "mutation" by robin cook for chemistry extra credit, i don't get it why we have to read science fictions for chemistry. well, but its actually a pretty good book, kinda scary!!! but scary is always good

and finally...

NO HOT GUYS IN MY LIFE!!! which is sad...

I'm so stressed about euro right now! we did not have a teacher until the mid september since Kaplan is now sick, so school assigned us a new teacher. mr pope, well, he seems really cool, but i just don't really think his teaching style works very well for me. He always talk in some foreign languages while teaching, and ask us questions in other languages, i mean we are already havnig troubles with understanding the materials he's covering in english, there's no way that we are goin to understand those stuff in french, spanish, german, dutch, russian and who knows what other languages he speaks. and in class, basically he's not really lecturing, but keep asking us questions, how do we suppose to answer all thos questions if we dont' even understand what the text is talkin about. he's always like," you guys have to read the chapter! If you read the chapter, you wouldn't have any problems with this class", seriously, if we could undertand all the stuff in the book by ourselves, then why do we need a teacher? And he gives us all those websites and videos, and music, i just dont' think they would reallly help us. I'm not trying to say that they absolutely useless and he's just wasting his time. I actually think that it is really thoughtful of him to spend all much time online searching for this kind of stuff to help us understand better, but we need to focus mainly on the text and the stuff we have to know for the exam, those websites and stuff are just supplements which could possibly help us to understand the text. If we even did not understand the text, what's the point of us go online and watch all those videos. And he always call up people to the board, and give him/her a marker and say, "you teach us the main concept of this chapter!" Why do we need you as a teacher if we could teach ourselves. And the stupid class participation points, that is so elementary, i mean teachers use class participation points to make sure the kids pay attention in class in MIDDLE SCHOOL, but this is high school and this is an AP course, everyone in this class all wants to get a good grade, of course everyone is going to pay attention. this is just stupid, it gives us too much pressure, cuz he says, "if i ask you a question, and you can't answer it, you just lost all class participation points of the day." We are serious about our grades, could not be able to answer the question does not mean that we are not paying attention in class. This is so STUPID! and OMG, i hate group work and group discussion, i absolutely hate them. The first day of class, he said he hates group work too, and he' s not goin to make us do group works very often, and now, basically, we have to do group disccussions everyday and we have to present the information we discussed in group in front of class and everyone's gonna take notes from what ppl is presenting. and He throws pens and markers in classroom everyday, so violent! and yells at us for not knowing geography well. He talks about how he was a student teacher in McKean, and how good this euro teacher in McKean is and how well he did student-teaching there, why couldn't he just go back to Mckean with his stupid class participation points, group discussion, marker throwing, self-teaching, and all those kinds of "good" stuff with him~!!!! im not trying to say he's a bad teacher or what, i mean he's not bad at all, he is fun and he's really cooler, much cooler than a lot of ap teachers, but his way of teaching is just not working very well. I don't want to do poorly on the ap exam and i do't want my grade in this class to affect my GPA. In average, i spend 3-4 on euro everyday, and still could not keep up with him, i just don't understand anything in that class. i dno't get it, i mean is it my problem that i can't understand or is it his problem~ okay, now, enough complaining about the his class.... let's talk about him. I heard that he's now dating Kudlick (my 10th grade english teacher) , haha, i don't know, maybe its just a rumor. today, during euro, Garnell said something about kudlick, and pope smiled and last week, he said he's gonna watch the field hocky game, cuz kudlick is the coach. haha

calc is hard too, i hate it when koliss assign each person a question, and only us like 15 seconds to answer them, and he would make fun of you if you got the answer wrong or made some silly mistakes, and everyone in class in really nervous about the class. A lot of band people are in that class, and in band everyday, ppl are like talkin aobut hwo scary to answer those questions, haha!

Long time no update!! School started, tons of homeword to do. So this weekend, have to finish this calc packet which i was supposed to finish in the summer, and an english essay to write, and 250 pages of euro history and chemistry?(well, not sure if we have any hw in chem, i have to check that! the teacher's really weird). omg, this is crazy!!!

It is weird how like the school always have "difficulties" with the system, so our schedules are always messed up!

Expecting tests next week, gotta go study!!

Haven't update for a month. Actually i am kinda tired of xanga, i really don't have a lot things to write about.

I should start to do my summer homework now, but well, everyone knows i always leave all my work till last minute, just can't help it~

this week, bandcamp, having two new directors, 9 hours of marching and playing with only an 1-hour lunch break. my legs are killing me now!!

Using cable now, fast internet is awesome!!!hee-hee.

School is over, i now finally decide i should update my xanga!

Ok, my sophomore year sucked, bad teachers, bad grades, bad classmates and everything has been so bad! well the good thing is, no more sophomore year for me! hahaha! actually, next year is gonna be worse, oh well!!

Wenting left, aw... i'm gonna miss you!! Good luck in san diego, and i'm sure we are gonna see each other again, and i'm gonna beg my parents to get me a webcam! Well, we can still call each other, and talk to each other online, and you can still talk to your crush (the guy who sings tonghua) and my "boyfriend", haha, anyway, i'm gonna miss you!

Memorial day parade today. So we were marching on main street, I saw this chinese couple taking pictures of our marching band, then i couldn't stop laughing. I tried so hard not to laugh, but i still couldn't help it. Yep, i know, i know i'm weird.

Just came back from the library. Borrowed 11 books for my english research paper. I'm doin stock market crash on 1929. I haven't start it yet, but i already know that its gonna suck.

well.... chocolates are gooooooood...... ice creams are gooooooooood. So chocolate ice creams are really goooooooood. Yum.

Haven't update forever. So now i'm here updating

I did something really bad in bio this week. So we were doin this DNA and restriction enzyme lab using more than 50 paperclips, after the lab, we have to put them back into these jars by their colors. I finished before the bell rang, so i was sitting there and talking to people. While i was talking, i used someone else's instruction sheet which i believed that he's not gonna use it anymore wrapped this chain of 50 paperclips. I was gonna put them back later, then the bell rang, i left these wrapped paperclips on the desk, and left the room, and forgot to put them away. SO the next day, at the beginning of the class, the teacher was like," i'm thinking i should give this person a zero on his/her lab, cuz he/she didn't clean up yesterday and wrapped the paperclips in the instruction sheet which he/she should take it with him/her and answer the questions on it, and left them on the desk." I wasn't sure if she knew i did it or not, cuz that paper has someone else's name on it, and you know that huge, long tables we are using for labs, i didn't put the stuff right on my seat, but the person next to me's. But still, i feel really guilty now, i really didn't mean to leave them on the desk.

I gotta go see my eye doctor next week, cuz vision is getting worse, and my mom was saying stuff that how you can get blinded if you don't take care of your eyes properly and your vision becomes so bad to scare me.

Anywayz, my birthday's coming up, gonna be 16, yeah, feel old.
